When one area is under stress, whether it is the gut, hormones, metabolism, nervous system, or nutrient status, the effects ripple outward… It shows up in your energy, your focus, your mood, and your ability to keep up with your life.
My holistic, systems-based approach is rooted in functional medicine, which means I look at the full picture – how your body functions, how your lifestyle supports or strains it, and how your internal state influences everything from digestion to hormones to resilience.
Together, we’ll make sense of what your body is saying, create a clear, actionable strategy that supports real healing in real life, and empower you with knowledge, skills and confidence to make the changes necessary to help you combat your health issues. When you understand what your body has been trying to say, your next steps become clear.
After working with hundreds of patients, and navigating my own health journey, I’ve seen the same pattern repeatedly: women doing everything “right” and still not getting solutions. I am a firm believer that health is the foundation for everything else in life. It affects what you can do, how you feel, the energy you have, and the way you’re able to build a life you love. That’s why I take a holistic approach and address body, mind, and spirit – so you can move into a receptive state and activate transformative healing.
My background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia, a BSN from Linfield University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Portland. I spent seven years as an operating room nurse and another seven+ years as a family nurse practitioner working in primary care and functional medicine. I have trained with the Institute for Functional Medicine, completed certified Functional Medicine Coursework with the School of Applied Functional Medicine, am Level 1 Reiki-certified, and have taken classes in the chakra systems. I also practice meditation and kundalini yoga – because I believe spiritual and energetic work are a key piece to overall health.
I have practiced as a Primary Care Provider and as an independent health coach, and my experiences with both have shown me what women are truly experiencing when addressing their symptoms – from not feeling heard to what’s actually helping. It’s what inspired me to develop my holistic partnership approach to healthcare that allows me to look beyond surface-level symptoms and address what’s actually driving dysfunction. This enables me to help women feel capable, confident, trust their bodies again, and build health that supports their lives, no matter if we’re working in the clinic or out.
